Education World, the Human Development Magazine conducts a nation wise survey on top 100 schools in India. We are proud to announce that Bunts Sangha’s S M Shetty International School and Junior College has made a grand entry in The Education World India School Rankings for The Top 1000 Schools in the country, claiming the 33rd position nationally and 18th in the state of Maharashtra.This was school’s first year to enter into the national survey. The proactive management has been continuously investing for the upgradation of infrastructure and facilities. In 2016 the school received the prestigious IB (International Baccalaureate) authorization to offer the IB Diploma Programme, a Gold Standard in Education. In 2015 the school was ranked among the top 5 International Schools by Times School Survey (Mumbai Zone C).

In the same year the school was authorized by Cambridge to start a Teacher Training Centre for International Diploma and Certificate in Teaching and Learning. In 2014 the school won the prestigious British Council International School Award. All this stands testimony to the strong bond and successful partnership among the management, staff, students and parents of Bunts Sangha’s S M Shetty International School & Junior College.

Opportunity to Visit the President of India

Our school was privileged to get an opportunity to meet with the President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind and the First Lady Smt. Savita Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

CA Shankar Shetty,Chairman Powai Education Committee, Principal,Mildred Lobo and students-Junior Head Girl- Gayatri Samudra, Prefects - Om Menon and Nehaarika Malliah all from CP V and Kiara Sawhney from IEYC III conveyed greetings from the students and teachers of our school.

National Mastermind Competition 2017-18

Results of National Mastermind Competition 2017-18. In Maths, Vedanshi Ate of IEY 3, ranked 2nd, Pradyoth Shankar ranked 4th and Ilisha Sadalge of IEY II, ranked 5th. In English, Janay Mukherjee of IEY II ranked 3rd and in EVS, Shravni Poojari of IEY III, ranked 5th. Kaira Bhangara of IEY II, ranked 4th in MaRRs Play2Learn - Interschool Level. Vaishnavi Chettiyar won a trophy in Football for under 8 held at Andheri Sports Club.

Cyber Security Film Award

Our school AS students Nikhil Maheshwari and Vedant Saxena were the finalist in Cyber Security and modern-day threats theme in the Film Fly Experience Australia India schools video competition organized by Australian Trade and Investment Commission in collaboration with HDFC Credila.

The competition which was open to schools across India had an overwhelming response with total of 539 schools registering for the competition and 355 video entries submitted across five themes.

Our Students Nikhil Maheshwari and Vedant Saxena who made this video and their mentor Ms Preeti Shetty (IBDP and A level Faculty) were felicitated at the Australian High Commission, New Delhi on 5th April 2018 for securing the First Runner Up Position
